Building on its highly successful Pump System Optimization Education and Training Program that helps participants of different industries operate pump system more efficiency in achieving energy savings of 20% to 40%, the Hydraulic Institute is developing a broader Pump Systems Assessment Certification Program (PSAP) that will provide a method to assess the credentials and capabilities of individuals who do pump systems assessments and evaluations based on a rigorous testing protocol.
The Hydraulic Institute introduces member company, Crane Pump & Systems, as the latest company to have their pump test laboratory approved through the HI Pump Test Lab Approval Program. The approved pump test lab is located at 430 3rd Street, Piqua, OH.
The Hydraulic Institute named Paul Ruzicka, Global COE Residential, Commercial Waste Water and Chief Engineer, Xylem Inc. – Applied Water Systems as its 2015 Member of the Year. The award was conferred to Mr. Ruzicka at the Hydraulic Institute’s 2016 Annual conference held recently in Tucson, Arizona.
